Richard Grahame obtained the degrees of BSA (1942), BCom (1946) and MSA (1948). He served in the Medical Corps in Italy during World War 2. After war service he worked for 15 years at the Carnation Company in Portland, Oregon, and then moved to Vancouver where he worked with Dairyland until his retirement.
He served on the Board of Directors of the West Vancouver Band Association and was active in the North Shore Unitarian Church and the Hollyburn Country Club. Other community service included assistance to the Seniors Special Services and volunteering with ESL students at the Lucas Centre. He was a dedicated alumni volunteer for many years. He passed away in 1999.
