UBC, 1950, BSc, Agriculture


Clayton Russell Bartley was born in New Brigden, Alberta, in 1924 and graduated with a BSA (Major in Agricultural Mechanics) in 1950. Prior to his university days Clayton trained as a pilot with the RCAF from 1943-45.

After graduation Mr Bartley had several jobs before joining the RCAF in 1952 as a Construction Engineering Officer. He served in that capacity until 1971 when he left to become an Assessment Appraiser until 1974, when he was appointed a BC Assessment Appraiser. He retired in 1990.

Mr and Mrs Bartley reside in North Vancouver, BC. They have a son Stuart and daughter Patricia.
